WELCOME

These are pictures we have taken on our lighthouse excursions since we met in 1998. If we counted correctly we have seen approximately 470 lighthouses so far. Our most memorable trip was to the west coast. We flew into Seattle, took the ferry to Vancouver and back, rented a car (a Mustang convertable) and took a month to drive down the coast to San Diego, looking at lighthouses (and wineries) along the way. Almost as memorable was our 20 day cruise aboard the Norwegian Prima from Rome to New York, including ports in Italy, Sardinia, France, Majorca, Spain and the Azores. Other memories are when we spent a week at the Big Bay lighthouse performing maintenance, circumnavigating Puerto Rico, Maine and lobsters, three days/nights on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, Door County lighthouses and fish boils, navigating the road to Crisp Point, telling our native driver where to find the lighthouses on southern Barbados, Florida Keys' lighthouses and parasailing, US Lighthouse Society Tours,
